End
Plates provide protection from forklift damage adding to the value
and lifespan of the pallet. The Eagle Plate design provides a strong
protective barrier to stringer damage.
Reinforcing
the end foot of a notched stringer pallet can extend the useful
life of the pallet as stringers are frequently damaged at this location.
If
the end plate becomes damaged, simply remove and replace the area
affected and the stringer will be able to withstand another impact.
Research
conducted by the Canadian Pallet Council (CPC) at the Pallet and
Container Research Laboratory at Virginia Tech revealed that end
plating stringers delays initial stringer repair by 70 to 85%. The
testing showed that end plating resulted in a 76% reduction in the
estimated repair frequency of stringers and a 60% reduction in the
estimated repair frequency of all components if proper nails are
used to manufacture and repair the pallets.

the lifespan and value of your pallets today with Eagle End Plates!
